The estate, the beach, and arriving by sea

Your own golden, sandy beach, a 1–2 minute walk
The estate's own paved pathways take you down to the sand, and they are stroller-friendly the whole way. Sunbeds and umbrellas are set out for guests.
The bay faces south and is sheltered from the northerly meltemi, so the water here stays swimmable and boat-accessible on days when the north of the island is not.
The sea around Skiathos is among the warmest in the Aegean, averaging about 26–27°C in August, roughly two degrees warmer than the Cyclades, where the meltemi cools the water. In front of the beach, a natural rock shelf encloses a shallow, pond-like stretch of sea that warms faster still.
You can arrive, and leave, by water
Day charters to Skopelos and Alonissos leaving from the beach below the villas. Arriving from Volos or Skopelos by water. A tender collecting the group for dinner in town.

Flights, ferries and the bus
By air. Skiathos International Airport (JSI) is about 15–18 minutes by road from the estate.
By ferry. From Volos, Agios Konstantinos, Mantoudi (Evia) and Thessaloniki into Skiathos Town, 12–15 minutes away.
Transfers. We are happy to recommend a transfer on arrival.
A hire car is the easiest way to explore the island, and we are happy to recommend a local company. It is not essential, though — the island bus stop is less than a two-minute walk from the estate, on the main road just above us, and takes you west to Koukounaries or east into Skiathos Town for a couple of euros.
The villas are next to bus stop 17 (Poros). Buses run roughly every 15–20 minutes in season, tickets on board.
